Few things are as serious as humor. Take away it away from us and things get seriously too serious. My opinion: humor is the WD-40 of the human condition. Seriously. New York City once had the Algonquin Round Table at which famed humorists of the 1920s would meet to kibbitz and sharpen each others' humor skills.
